Welcome to our website.   Here you will find the help needed to successfully manage

your community green space group.

In Stockport we have a wide variety of open spaces including urban and country parks, woodlands, allotments and other recreational green spaces.  These are crucial to our community’s health and well being. Friends groups make a huge contribution to the upkeep and development of these green spaces and the Forum is here to help you. We need your input to build and improve on our service.

The Stockport Greenspace Forum

 Networking Day 2017

will be on Saturday 9th September

in the poly tunnel at Growing in Partnership at Woodbank Park.

The event starts at 1.pm but teas, coffee etc. will be available from 12.30.

There will be a fun quiz (plant based of course) before the strawberry teas
at 2pm, and then Norman Jones will give a presentation on Bees (wild,
Bumble, Solitary, for their benefits to our flora) which will be followed by
a short workshop on "How we can help others" before the close at 4.pm

The car park for Woodbank is accessed via Offerton Lane, Turncroft Lane, and
Edwin Street. SK1 4HW will get you close.
