This is an area of Ancient Woodland which few people know about. The huge trees cling to the sides of a very steep valley. There is a footpath along one side at present which the Friend’s group have had renovated using a Landfill Tax grant. Work has also been done to the bridge and the steps. A new noticeboard has been put up for the community to use and bird and bat boxes have been put up in the woodland.
